What I am building
The professional standard
The Bitcoin consulting profession is missing two things: a way to prove you actually know Bitcoin, and a way to learn to advise a corporate treasury. I'm building one of each.
Bitcoinstitution
Mine. I own it together with angel investors. It is an on-site proctored multiple-choice certification of hard Bitcoin knowledge, and it is live and bookable today. It exists so that "I know Bitcoin" can be tested by someone other than the person saying it.
Bitcoin Treasury Academy
Not mine. Bitcoin Treasury Academy is owned 100% by AmityAge. They commissioned me to build their Bitcoin treasury curriculum, and it ships under their brand, not mine. The format is self-paced, with the oral exam retained. It is in production.
Where I came from
Thirteen years advising organizations through change
I have advised companies for thirteen years, working with organizations going through change, and I have written two books. Both are listed on the writing page alongside my essays.
That is a different subject from a company treasury, and I offer it as a credential rather than as Bitcoin expertise: thirteen years of advisory work, and two books you can read before you decide anything.
I host the monthly Bitcoin Indonesia community meetup in Jakarta, more than 30 of them so far, and I have spoken at Bitcoin conferences.
